Bondi Restaurant opens in America ... 30th January, 2007

Bondi bar and kitchen in San Diego is now open! Last weekend was huge at the venue with in excess of 1000 patrons each day!!

As you may be aware our latest international hospitality project "Bondi Bar and Kitchen" opened in San Diego Southern California USA last week to much critical acclaim.

We at Brooking Design are extremely proud of our design work and more importantly than the rave design reviews we believe the venue has successfully captured an essence and portrayal of Australian culture within the unique design elements contained within the space.

Recent features on both the Channel ten news and more recently Fox and Channel 7, have given the national Australian TV news audience an small incite into this remarkable concept derived by Australians for the American market.

The latest American network to jump on the bandwagon was NBC, San Diego, their feature news story aired over the long weekend in the US.

At this stage there is very limited photography available (as the venue is currently being photographed) the above images of the Cafe highlight some of the fish trap seating booths which are one of the many talking points of the venue.

With some 1000+ patrons a day visiting the venue over the weekend, the long term goal of rolling out 10 venues through Southern California in the next three years looks extremely promising!
