To design an executive style residence on a elevated corner site, with panoramic views towards the Swan River in the Perth riverside suburb of Attadale. The existing two street frontage corner site with 4.5 metre cross fall presented a unique opportunity for the practice to generate an exciting response to this brief. The secret for a successful solution in this instance lied with our  creative ability to design the residence upon a circular floor plan grid arrangement which enabled the most remarkable planning form for the residence to be achieved. To aid in the design process of this particular residence, in-house 3D cad modelling techniques were utilised to realise and exploit the ultimate volumetric nature of the architectural forms.

Architecturally the building comprises of two half-circular forms interconnected by way two smaller cylindrical volumes. The external design solution suggests that the building be clad in stone following a strict geometric arrangement following the circular plan form of the residence. A stepped tapered roof dominates and provides a unique modernist quality to the external profile of the building.
